Free trees

Children watering a plant

The Free Tree Program begins each year in January. Residents, body corporates and schools are eligible to take part in the program and receive free trees for planting on their respective properties.

A selection of native trees and shrubs are provided through the Free Tree Program. The species offered vary throughout the year and are dependent on availability. Typically, the plants range in size from tubestock to 200-millimetre pots.

Please note: Residents can no longer collect trees from the Coombabah Nursery. More localised collection venues are now available across the city. Please see dates and locations for collection.
