Burleigh Heads Library has a prime location opposite the beach at Burleigh Heads. It’s a favourite of both locals and visitors, and has a large children’s area that’s regularly packed with young families.
The library is the third oldest in the city, opened by Gold Coast Council Mayor Ern Harley in 1967. It was upgraded in 1979 and 1991. Above the library is the City’s Fradgley Hall events space. Find out more about the history of our libraries on our Gold Coast Stories website.
