Free trees

Children watering a plant

The Free Tree Program will begin again in January 2021. Ratepayers, body corporates and schools are eligible to take part in the program and receive free trees for planting.

The City's nursery is situated on Shelter Road at Coombabah. Heading east along the Gold Coast Highway, Shelter Road is the next left turn after Marble Arch Place. See the map below.

Operating hours for the nursery will be from 7.30am until 2pm on the allocated days.

Please note: A selection of native trees and shrubs are provided through the Free Tree Program. The species selected vary throughout the year and are dependent on availability. Typically, the plants range in size from tubestock to 200-millimetre pots.
