City of Gold Coast's Recycle Market, at Reedy Creek Waste and Recycling Centre, sells a huge range of quality second hand household items at bargain prices.
The Recycle Market supports our goal of diverting reusable materials before they reach our landfills, delivering both environmental benefits and helping to keep rates lower because landfill space is better utilised.
The Recycle Market is open from 8am to 4pm, Wednesday to Sunday (closed on public holidays).
The recycle market is operated for the City by the Endeavour Foundation, a registered charity providing employment opportunities for local people with disabilities. Proceeds from shop sales help to fund Endeavour’s work as one of the country’s largest non-government service providers.
Goods for sale include furniture, collectables, books, toys and sporting equipment. Goods sold are salvaged and sorted on site, and carefully prepared for sale. If you have items you no longer have a use for, you can do your bit by donating them in the drop off area, before browsing the shop to find a preloved bargain.
