Diving program and facilities

The Gold Coast Aquatic Centre is the home of diving on the Gold Coast and offers quality coaching for beginners right through to elite athletes.

Supported by the local diving club, the program includes:

Dive pool

The dive pool is 33 metres x 22 metres in size with depths of 3-5 metres. Diving boards are available at heights of one metre and three metres, with platforms at five, 7.5 and 10 metres.

Dry dive facility

The GCAC boasts an exceptional indoor dry-dive facility which allows participants to simulate and practice skills with the use of harnesses and foam pits.

It has been used by some of the top divers in the world in preparation for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games, the 2018 Pan Pacific Masters Games and the FINA Diving Grand Prix 2018.

There is no other facility like this on the Gold Coast.
