To be eligible for free bus travel must:
- hold a TransLink Seniors red go card or Seniors card +go
- be a Gold Coast resident
- apply for a sticker pass.
How to apply
The following documentation must be submitted with your application for free bus travel:
- a copy of your proof of residency on the Gold Coast (e.g. rates notices, utilities bill, car registration)
- a copy of your TransLink Seniors go card or Seniors +go card (both sides).
Once the above documentation is prepared you can complete and submit an online application below for free bus travel or download a form if you would prefer to complete your application offline:
Alternatively, you can phone 1300 GOLDCOAST (1300 465 326) and request a form to be sent to you.
While the online method is preferred, if you do complete a hard copy, you can submit your application and supporting documentation by email to firstname.lastname@example.org, or in person at one of the City's customer service centres, or by post to:

Once your application is approved you'll receive a sticker to attach to your TransLink Seniors red go card or Seniors +go card. Please allow 10 business days for processing.
